Scott is a forward-thinking entrepreneur with over 15 years of business ownership experience that is rooted in construction and solar energy. With a focus on innovation and meticulous attention to detail, he enriches Northern Sun Energy with a wealth of experiential knowledge. Scott excels in spearheading the execution of large-scale solar projects, particularly in challenging terrains. His knack for finding creative solutions and steadfast resolve ensure excellence down to the smallest detail and top-quality results for every project. His passion for renewable energy is evident in his commitment to propelling Northern Sun Energy forward as a pivotal player in the industry.
Renewable executive with more than 8 years of experience executing PV Solar (400MW+), BESS (150MWhrs+), and Wind energy projects (500MW+) across the USA. His core expertise lies in value engineering, procurement, estimation and cost control, contracts, project risk mitigation and construction management (both self-perform and subcontracts). Prateek has been successful in developing core teams around him to execute EPC work for clients like Xcel Energy, Eversource, Goldman Sachs, Con Edison and various regional and national IPPs.
CHRIS BALOGH

Chris is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with a strong background in the renewable energy industry. With a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Lakehead University, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. With his proficiency in AutoCAD and Contract Administration, Chris is an integral part of the Northern Sun Energy team. Chris is passionate about leveraging his skills to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of renewable energy technologies.
With over 8 years of experience in the construction industry, Steven has dedicated his focus to the renewable energy sector. Steven has actively participated in the development and construction of over 1 gigawatt (1GW) of operational solar and battery storage projects, collaborating closely with Operations teams. At DEI, Steven holds the responsibility for ensuring the overall financial health of the organization. His key contributions include developing and enhancing processes and strategies to mitigate risk, eliminate wasteful spending, and strategically foster the sustainable growth of the organization.
